Baku Caviar became the first brand in the history of national fish farming to introduce a closed water supply (RAS system) that reproduces the natural life cycle of sturgeon in the Caspian Sea.

We developed a unique hatching method that encompasses all stages when, in the beginning, the fry develops in the freshwater, and then the adult fishes are transferred to salty seawater.

History

Our journey began with a vision to revive Azerbaijan’s rich aquaculture heritage, focusing on the revitalization of a farm originally established in 1954, where the world’s first artificial breeding of sturgeon was achieved. This historic milestone set the foundation for our ongoing commitment to preserving and enhancing our aquaculture traditions.
